The Overtime Rules During the Play-offs are as Follows:
- All elimination matches must conclude with a winner. If you're not
sure, this will be circled on the score sheet.
- The home team/higher seed will kick off the match. The visiting team
gets choice of bench.
- The home team/higher seed will kick off the overtime period.
- The golden goal overtime period is five minutes.
- Only timeouts not used in the second half may be used during overtime.
No additional timeouts are awarded.
- If the match is level at the conclusion of the overtime period, teams
will take kicks from the penalty mark. The referee will level the teams (if
red has 10 and blue has 8, only 8 red players are eligible to take kicks).
All players will move onto the pitch behind the halfway line.
- The home team/higher seed chooses whether to shoot first or second.
- If the match is level at the conclusion of the first five kicks,
one-for-one kicks will take place.
